‘Village Headmaster’ Back on Screen After 34 Years

Immediately after 34 a long time hiatus, popular Nigerian Tv set clearly show “Village Headmaster” has now been repackaged and will be revealed on three community television stations.

The Director-Normal of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Mallam Yakubu Ibn Mohammed, disclosed on Friday at the relaunch and personal screening of the repackaged drama series in Abuja.

He stated the drama collection would be proven on NTA every single Sunday from 8.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., Africa Impartial Tv (AIT) just about every Wednesday from 9.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m. and WAP Tv set each individual Friday from 8.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Established in Oja, a fictitious Yoruba village, Ibn Mohammed said the sequence is woven all around the life of the villagers from royalty to the commoners, education and learning and so in.

He claimed prominent amongst them bundled late Main Segun Olusola, former Nigeria Ambassador to Ethiopia, who produced the collection as a member of team of the then Western Nigeria Tv, Ibadan.

The D-G said the new cast is super-packed with the choicest names in the film field including some of the founding customers of the collection, notably, Dejumo Lewis as Kabiyesi, Alison Ibrahim as Amebo, Dan Imodu as Dagbolu and Dele Osawe as Instructor Fadile.

Other prominent customers of the cast involved Well-liked musician 9ice, Mr Latin, Funky Mallam, Jide Kosoko, Okele, Omo Ibadan and Fathia Balogun.

Also speaking at the event, Adenuga thanked the NTA boss and household for bringing back the series noting that the Television home motivated them from script to display.

Mr Wale Adedeji, a consultant of Globacom, explained they have been happy to be the sponsor of the articles which celebrates culture, evokes unity and teaches ethical values.
