Epic Games is giving away free games every week again in 2021, following the gaming store’s weekly giveaway throughout 2020.
Epic Games will be releasing a new game for free every Thursday at 11 a.m. ET. In 2020, Epic Games would sporadically add two or three games to the free games giveaway, so you may get the chance to expand your gaming library this year, too.
In 2019, Epic Games gave away 73 free games, and in 2020, they gave away more than 90—stay tuned to find out how many will be given away in 2021.
Last year, Epic Games gave away popular games like GTA V, Night in the Woods, Metro: 2033 Redux, and HITMAN, among dozens of other major titles. For a full list of games that were available for free on Epic Games in 2020, check out Newsweek‘s full list of free games.
The first free game of 2021 was Jurassic World Evolution, which was the last game included in the holiday promotion that saw Epic Games gave away 15 games for free in 15 days over the Christmas period.
The first official free game of the 2021 giveaway is Crying Suns, followed by STAR WARS Battlefront II: Celebration Edition.
Newsweek will be updating this article each week with the free game of the week, so be sure to check back here weekly to see what’s next on the list, or what you may have missed.
To download your free game of the week head to the Epic Games Store and create an account or sign in to an existing account. Once you’re logged in, hit the “get” button and download the game, which will be yours to keep forever.
